I can't wait to share this book next fall on my school visits to 1st and 2nd graders. Such a funny mixed up season.
I can't wait for all the children at storytime to FREAK out over these bizarre, jumbled illustrations. The book's humorous inconsistencies will strengthen narrative awareness and create potential for conversation.

This book is all about fall! Or is it? Everything is all mixed up! This could be a VERY fun storytime read. If the kids catch onto what is happening then it is a good opportunity for them to correct the book and giggle at how silly it is.
I have owned this book for a LONG time and never read it. Thank goodness for a friend who recommended it. Kids LOVED this still story and thought they were so smart to catch the silly mix-ups.
A fun picture book in which common happenings in the fall are mixed up pumpkins turn red, kids trick or treat for drumsticks and stuffing.
From hibernating geese to a Thanksgiving table laden with sweets, fall doesn't look like it's supposed to in this silly book about fall. Kids will love finding all of the errors in this book and discussing their favorite parts of the fall season. My favorite illustrations shows squirrels, each one tied to a red balloon, flying south for the winter. This would make a great read aloud to share alongside the scarecrow, pumpkin, and leaf books we commonly read with kids.
Maybe I'd like this better if I read it to kids. The rhythm falls flat several times, and the rhymes are sometimes a bit of a stretch.
This was so cute. My kids loved figuring out what the book should have said. Does the bear search for nuts, hibernate, or fly south for the winter? Very informative while being fun.
Cute book. Nice artwork with mixed media, which fits with the mixed up theme. Took me a minute to u destined the premise, but it’s a fun one for kids.
