Everyone in this bar is JUST as annoying as they were last time, if not moreso.
This book popped off and I’m really enjoying my reread of this series.
This is the second book in the Chronicles of Prydain series. In it, the main characters are on a quest to destroy an infamous item of sorcery, a black cauldron. I am sure this is a wonderful book for children up to the age of 11 or 12, but it might easily become disappointing for older readers, because the plot and the characters are too simple and too stereotypical. However, this does not change that the book is well written for children, which makes it a 5 star book for me.
I absolutely loved it! Even better than The Book of Three in my opinion!
Absolutely fantastic book. This one had everything—adventure, joy, sadness, mystery, and a lot of satisfying character development.
This was my first "fantasy/science fiction" book, and I loved every page.

This entire series is a wonderful, yet dark coming of age story.
This book in particular is a very high adventure and full of suspense battle of good vs. evil. The characters are so much fun and full of emotion and spunk. Alexander's writing really brings the worlds to life in a wonderful and creative way by pulling inspiration from Welsh mythology.
It's a fantastic read, but I will warn that there are some dark scenes that could frighten younger children.
