This is my favourite Anna Huang book so far. Absolutely the best of the king of sin series. I had a great time here! I love that they already have an established relationship. I love that home girl chooses herself and leaves her husband that chooses work over her. I LOVED watching him fight for her and change his ways. I loved his friends calling him out and him learning to respect her choices even when it breaks his heart. This was a very enjoyable read. I would've appreciated a slightly different epilogue, but I don't expect ground breaking writing here LOL in here for entertainment and that's what I got

I went in with low expectations despite the hype around this book and I’m glad I did because this was one of the biggest disappointments.
Went in thinking dom would be a character I would feel disconnected with and ale whom I’d feel sympathy for but it was the complete opposite. This was a short book for their marriage in crisis which included 11 years of history.
Disliked how it was wrapped up so quickly at the end. The angst and tension that was promised??? Couldn’t find it anywhere. The beginning looked promising but fell flat after about 10 chapters.
I also disliked how ale kept meeting with other men for dates but at the same time calling dom to sleep with?? And the way dom agreed to this…? So out of character. Also the smut…yeah it was bad. 2 pages and it was over…
