OMG I am enjoying this series so much right now! The FMC right now is strong but can’t make up her mind on what she wants to do so she’s going back and forth a lot which can get a bit annoying. The MMC is still chef’s kiss! The banter and the slow burn is amazing but we still get some spicy moments. It had me hooked from beginning to end. Can’t wait to move on to book 3 to see where this goes! On to the next!

Maybe if i didnt read anathema before this, i could have pushed through the series. The plot is interesting but the writing is still corny in some parts. I cant seem to like the main characters and some decisions made are questionable
Some problems that arised could have also been avoided, like why did they just flaunt lor in front of the king when theres so many things at stake.
I was also more interested in wolf and serce.
Maybe if this series was shorter, i would have finished it but im so unmotivated to continue so i see no point

This book was good.
I definitely couldn't wait to see what happened at the end and I'm more than excited to see what happens next.
However, in some places it wasn't quite as good but that balanced out again.
Now I have to wait for the next one...
