This series is completely addictive! I love all of the characters, and the romance between the MMC and FMC is entirely believable! The romance is very slow burn, which is a personal fave! This book has found family, flashbacks to the FMCs grandparents, an insane and satisfying plot, and a great set up for the next book! Could not recommend this series enough!!

3.5 ⭐️ - Okay book 2 was waaayyyy better than book 1 and definitely had much more original content that kept me on my toes. Is it a literary masterpiece? No absolutely not, however it is a fun read that’s easy to get through. I’ll read the next one!

I wanted to love this book, and I did like it, but I swear that nothing of substance actually happened. Most of the book is spent searching for an item, but there is so little time actually spent searching for said item. If that time was spent on really diving into the characters and getting to know them better, I could have gotten behind that, but instead of actual character development, it was mostly sex. I feel like for the length of the book, a bit more should have happened, or we should have gotten to know the characters better
For the good stuff: this book was entertaining. I like the characters overall, and the writing was pretty good. I am excited to see where the story goes next.
