Best I've read in a while..

I absolutely loved this story!! Claire is younger by two minutes and her family treats her like she's fragile. Bauer is rough on the outside and ice on the inside. Only a sweet girl like Claire could warm this Ice king snowboarder. The chemistry is fire here!!!

The book I didn’t know I needed…

This book was such a quick and easy read! I felt like I was in their world and didn’t want to leave. Claire and Bauer were the perfect opposites attract, good girl x bad boy romance. I loved the depth of Claire’s understanding of human psyche and how she approached people especially Bauer. And I totally felt the pain of Bauer’s upbringing. It wasn’t abusive but it was heartbreaking! I can’t wait to read the next book on this series. It was great writing, and engaging characters and plot. Loved it. Easily a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!

I would fake anything with Bauer!

I am not shy about it either. He is absolutely worth the heartache, heartbreak, and any other aches (yes, those!).

Faked is taking the good girl out of her comfort zone and putting her in the path of the "bad boy."

What a wild path! What a wonderful journey. Fake it 'til he breaks your heart then love with all the pieces left!

I really wanted to like this book after it being recommended to me. It just fell flat. I felt like the characters had no chemistry. The sister getting involved and telling Claire who not to like or at least not agreeing to it. I believe the sister told Bauer the truth so it would take away the Claire’s happiness. I felt like this story was missing a lot.

Twin switch

Lei and Claire had to switch places so that Lei could attend a lecture that she had been wanting to attend. So Claire agreed to go with Lei's best friend, and Claire's secret crush, Finn to a fundraiser dinner to help his parents raise money for their youth center.
To Claire's surprise the night of the dinner when she opens the door it's not Finn there to pick her up, but his brother Bauer showed up instead. He knew that it was Claire and not Lei right away, but let her pretend to be her sister for the night.
His parents though it would help to have the sister of a local football legend there to help court a new donor that was going to be attending which is why they had Finn invite Lei Ward. Things between Claire and Bauer turn sideways fairly quickly, especially when they are invited to the donors Home for the evening and an overnight stay.
I loved this story and how these two fall for one another.

"No wonder you turned out to be a good man," she said quietly.

(4.5⭐) i won't say anything about them falling in love in 3 days because i, too, would have fallen in love with bauer in three days. i loved claire and bauer and all the scenes with the whole ward family in them
