Eerie and strange...stimulating and disorienting...a bizarre depiction of climate chaos and kids witnessing their parents wrestle with their own irrelevance and mortality.

If you like books with a lot of symbolism then this book is for you. The kind of book they would assign in high school to write an essay on there was such a depth of meaning. It’s a heartbreaking story but beautifully written and screams what younger generations have been telling for years

I wish I had enjoyed this book more than I did. At times, it just felt so preposterous that I couldn’t take it seriously- but I suppose there really are rich parents out there that are that neglectful. I just had a hard time relating to the characters, keeping track of them, and believing the plot. I also felt it was a rushed ending with loose ends left dangling. I did enjoy the writing style though, and may try something else by this author.

Morno. Lê-se se não houver algo melhor...

Unique premise with interesting implications on the generational divide re climate change but about halfway through the book went off track and dealt with entirely different issues. This book tried to do too much.
