I loved Sally so much, she was such a fun fmc and both Galen and Vance were great too. Honestly the highlight of this book was Z, he was just so sweet to Sally and such a dad (which was exactly what she needed).

I've enjoyed all of the Masters of Shadowlands novels, and on re-reading this I've upgraded it from 4-stars to 5 stars. On first reading, some of the erotic bits were a bit too intense for me, but on second reading I'm either more open-minded, or I found it less distracting and the overall story more riveting.

The emotions carry the storyline

Yes there’s lots of wildly sexy BDSM, but feelings are always mixed in also. And the intrigue of a crime drama with just a little bit of action to round out the tale. Loved these characters and the whole Shadowlands family.

Ever since Sally came into book I'v been dying for her book to come and I was not disappointed. I love how Sally is a sweet sassy and fierce friend but has deep hurts from childhood that even Z hasn't pickup on till the Feds start to pursue her. Sally has a brief but violent relationship with frank a so-called Dom no one notices becos she quits shadowlands until she dumps him and returns as a trainee but struggles to get back her tough I don't care flirty character. I love how this book is all about breaking Sally hang up and get her to trust people with her heart and trust. Other masters/subs in shadowlands have up&downs with I liked, it made the people so much more realistic and human. Great suspense and I like that the harvest storyline is finished with and now I hope we can get to something new with new sub poss. Great HEA.

So happy to see Sally get her HEA!! And since she us such a handful she definitely needs two Doms to control her!! Such a lovely story, as always be Cherise!! Love the characters, the action, the emotion and the drama that always seems to follow the Shadowkittens!! I am hoping to meet Cherise in November at book signing in Sydney Australia, so I am super excited for that!!
