This book was not what I was expecting at all. I guess from the cover I thought it would be about astronomy and friendship. It ended up being about assumptions we make about people, trusting others, loving yourself and definitely friendship, even though not in the way I originally thought. I loved this graphic novel so much! #MaverickList

sweet and cute story

I'm a fan of the graphic novels featuring stories on friendship trend. I enjoyed Stargazing, even if it wasn't my favorite in the genre.

If I could give this more stars I would

This was such a cute read. The story is quite powerful and the characters are incredibly sweet. I loved the art and the balance between art and graphics was great.

I really loved this middle grade graphic novel. It is a wholesome story with just enough conflict to keep me engaged but not stressed. I loved the characters and themes present. Despite it being a new friends story, which seems common in middle grade, this one has unique aspects that truly make it stand out as one of the better ones.

Heartwarming and beautiful, Jen Wang does it again with Stargazing. It had just the right amount of each topic the book explored: culture, friendship, health, creativity, and even small crushes. The best part was of course, Christine and Moon's friendship: it's one that I hope many of us can experience in our lives. I won't give anything away since I was blown away by how unexpected the plot was. Read it on your own! Read it with your kids!

Utterly charming story of friendship and family, told from the perspective of a Chinese-American tween in California.

This was such an amazing read about friendship as well as dealing with reworld situations. This book also shows how much your imagination could mean to someone. This is a very big deal for both the main characters. If your looking for a book that you can escape into and really easy to read you have the perfect book here.
