I felt like the little kid in A Princess Bride in some parts ('is this a kissing book?') but the political intrigue...the angst...it's so good!!

The ending is absolutely stunning and HAS to be one of my favourite endings ever

There were some times in the story where I was quite confused with the wording, which is the only reason I’m not giving this book 5 stars. Overall, it made me squeal and scream and want to hurl my book at a wall. That’s when I know it’s a good book.

This was an interesting enough start that I’ll read the second book, but if the second book isn’t better, I likely won’t continue. Definitely not as good as the hype on social media.
