As a working mum myself I could relate to some of the themes/dialogue in this book, however I found all four of the central characters unrelatable, self-centred and prickly.

I just don't understand why it just ended abruptly?!

Melissa's relationship with her son is weird. He talks to her like shit, and she just apologizes?! Then in the next sentence, he tells her she means loads to him.

There was no wrap up/ending for any of the characters expect Beth - who seemingly was loving life in Switzerland. I don't even think there was much of a plot other than these group of friends seemed to be having a shite time.

Only read it cause there was characters called Beth and Stacey.
