A bit 39-steps, and romps along okay, but it could have done with some checking of the cyber details

mhmm.... this was weird. main character annoyed me so bad. i had to suspend a LOT of disbelief. i miss ruth ware's formulaic predictable thrillers :(

This book was just meh for me. I agree with the primary criticisms: 1) the who-done-it was really easy to piece apart, 2) the number of times she received her wounds just got monotonous, and 3) I started to lose interest because she was on the run for so long. I did want to know the plot and how it ended so the story was good! But the 3 items described above detracted from the overall enjoyment of the book. Still entertaining, but not my favorite.
