Reconozco que es un poco lenta en el arranque pero conforme avanza se pone mas interesante, que fuerteces relata y no sé por dónde empezar, la moral, la hipocresía, la envidia, el amor, el desamor, el abuso de confianza, wow.

this was only supposed to take me three weeks to read but we move. this is like pride and prejudice but for grown ups honestly. the marquise de merteuil is an elite elite character and when she says “very well, then. war!” literal chills. valmont was fun to read too but he was always inferior to her. enjoyed the unique structure of the book and even though it did drag at times, it was pretty consistently well paced. the end came as quite a shock and i do feel a bit disappointed following that exhilarating declaration of war because I’d really expected more scheming and a proper face-off but all the same it’s a good read, very cleverly plotted and at times very funny

Tässä todellakin oli sellainen kirja, jonka päähahmoista osa on erittäin vastenmielisiä. Kirjeromaani toimi erittäin hyvin tämän juonittelevan teoksen rakenteena, sillä se mahdollisti sekä ajan nopean kulun, että useitten hahmojen sisäisen maailman kuvailun. Samalla kirjeet itse olivat usein juonittelun ja petoksen välineitä. Onneksi lopulta paha sai palkkansa.

La fin est un peu précipitée selon moi mais cette oeuvre est un délice ! Le début est un peu lent mais une fois qu'on est dans l'histoire on ne peut plus s'arrêter de le lire.
