I really have enjoyed the other books by this author but this book was somewhat disappointing. I feel like most of their problems could’ve been solved by simple communication. Also the sexual harassment that occurred sounds like something out of a made-for-TV movie, or one of those old-school sexual harassment training videos, totally over-exaggerated. In modern times, sexual harassment is so much more subtle. I also found it super convenient that she happened to have her phone on record when it happened

The whole fake dating reason for both of them was stupid and kind of unhinged but the second half of the book ended up being kind of good.

Silly and self-indulgent at times, but overall a fun quick read.

Once again, it's just long form fanfiction. How am I not supposed to have a good time?

So I was thinking there's no way i'm the only one who's Imagining Adam Driver as the main character, and not only because his name is Adam, but because he was HIM! and I was like damn the author must be a big fan of Adam (same!) and then after I finished the book I read online that it is a Reylo fan-fiction and i was dead lmao!!!!!! This shit is hilarious!!! I should've known!!! The "shredded" scene was a big giveaway but I just did't expect it lol

So anyways, I needed to read something light and easy and I chose this one because it had good reviews. It was exactly that, I finished it in one day. I enjoyed the first half f the book more, I loved the banter and how witty Olive was, though she was quite childish at times for her age! And Adam is the bet thing about this book, period. There are some ridiculous scenes in the book, but you kinda expect that so yeah whatever. Something I liked about it is that it is self aware and acknowledges the ridiculousness of the fake dating trope. I did skip a lot, especially in the second half of the book tho, it got quite boring to be honest. So yeah, that's all I guess.
