We had a lot of fun reading this together. Definitely not a book for bedtime stories, as it certainly sparks a lot of energy.

Cute one!

Fond memories of making my dad read this over and over and over and OVER until he finally cried enough already and I...uh, discovered Go Dog Go. And he learned what rote memorization REALLY MEANT.

...

I was a demanding little crumbcruncher. I think I deserve the kids I care for. Every single one of them.

Though, on the other hand, we (my Daddy and me, of course) still do fish kisses, so. Yay for childhood memories. :)

A noisy book that's a fun read with toddlers and preschoolers, but can also span to cover a variety of age ranges right on up through elementary school.

I've created a musical storytelling kit to read this story with children. The kit contains a noisemaker or instrument for each sound Mr. Brown makes. It makes for a really fun reading experience that I've enjoyed with PreK-6th graders.

I love Dr. Seuss.
funny lighthearted medium-paced

My nine month old son loves this book. When he isn't chewing on it, he actually listens to the story!

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Mr. Brown is a wonder. Boom! Boom! Boom! Mr. Brown makes thunder!" This is a very fun Dr. Seuss book that is not like his other famous stories. As a matter of fact, "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?" is more focused on teaching various sounds to children while being centered around the character of Mr. Brown.

The illustrations are right in the wheelhouse of the style of Dr. Seuss. An entertaining read while lacking the typically engaging Dr. Seuss story to go with.
