¡Banco!

"Dibble dibble dopp dopp..." and so forth.

One of the stranger Dr Seuss books. Not so much a story but more of just crazy rhyme!

The kid has liked this one from around 8 months up through now, at 17 months. I expect to be reading it for a while! He always shouts "OWL" when we get to the owl page.

No story, but probably a fun read-aloud for kids, with all the noises.

I mean, it's Dr. Seuss, so of course it's fun and bright. It's for the littlest babies. There's no plot or story, just Mr. Brown and his talented mimicry. It's not unpleasant to read aloud. In fact, I feel challenged to perfect my rain and lightening sounds.

We like the board book version much better than the original

Daughter loves it, wife loves to hate it. I manage to still find fun in reading this aloud and it's an excellent tantrum-interrupter, but I have some sympathy for the verbose 1 star reviewers who have maybe read this one one too many times!

At ten months old, this was my son's favorite book. He would laugh and laugh at all the funny noises. Now he is nearly three and reading along, still laughing at the silly sounds. It's a really great book the itty bitty ones.

This is my (almost one-year-old) niece's favorite book. We all have it memorized from reading it to her repeatedly. :)
