She has only gone and done it again! I absolutely adore Paige Toon’s books and she is the sole reason why I got into the Romance Genre in the first place.
There is just too much to say! Paige Toon is just a natural story teller that writes the most perfect romances that are heart warming, feel good and easy to read. I fell in love with all the characters and loved seeing them develop throughout the storyline and build their relationships be it romantic or friendship from nothing to the most heart warming story. I loved the dynamic between the sisters and the two brothers and I while I loved Anders & Wrens story, I especially loved how Paige Toon developed Bailey and Jonas’s relationship without having to destroy Bailey’s marriage as I feel like thats how you guess it will end but it was so refreshing for it to have a different ending between them. Additionally, the development in the relationship between Wren and her dad also just pulled at my heart strings and I also loved how Wren’s relationship with her ex-fiancé didn’t have a toxic or messy ending in the end which was also really refreshing.
Also, the research, thought and level of detail that goes into every story Paige Toon writes is just incredible. As another review states, Her books take place all over the world and you can really tell how much thought is put into them. It’s not just made up places or things you can find out from tv shows or movies, She takes her time to go to these places, scope them out and it really shows within the story lines and that definitely needs a lot of credit too. I also love seeing her adventures on Instagram and it really adds to each story and you definitely feel so much more invested.

It's hard to put how I feel about this book into words. I wouldn't call it a romance, and yet it is. I thought this premise and story overall was really interesting and compelling, and I also didn't love it. I thought the characters and what they were dealing with was multi-layered and we didn't always get what we were expecting from them.
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts

This one is just a no for me. It’s not poorly written, but the story was SUCH a dud. It took literally 70% of the story to get to… a point? The “conflict”? I don’t know. The love story fell so flat. Also why is the author trying to romanticize INDIANA? Over ENGLAND? Gah, it was just such a bore. I was more intrigued by the side plot that ultimately wraps up with a bow by the end. Wren and Anders were not doing it for me. Yawn.
