I loved this book and could really relate to the main character, who is my exact age...
So thoughtful and smart and revealing.

True to the title, not much happens. Things remain as the always were. The main narrator has a rich inner life and the main problems that she encounters are products of her personal trauma. It’s a bit melancholy and sad at times. I enjoyed the book because of the rich characterization and powerful dialogue.

It’s very vanilla. I did want to finish it but didn’t learn much from it.
