Avoid the English audiobook if you can, Fiona Hardingham's odd pauses made enjoying Kate's chapters difficult, as a result of which I disliked the character as well as the narrator.

This book was written for me. Mythical horses on a rainy island with a romantic subplot? Sign me up! I have read this book and listened to the audiobook more than a few times. The audiobook is perfect for fall. As always, Maggie Stiefvater’s writing is incredible and I love her style. Her characters feel so real and her worlds so lived in.

4 stars still for this book. I love it so much. A 3 for the audio: The male narrator's cadence makes it hard to tell where there's a period and where there's a comma. Also his voice is a little too mature for Sean (and he's an old soul in general already). Puck's narrator was great though. If you haven't read this book, you should fix that.

I don't even know where to start. This book put me through so so much. I was genuinely nervous reading the ending. Also, this is one of those very very few books that actually makes me want to stop what I'm doing and read.

I loved so much about this book I can't even think of everything I loved about it. But most of all, I loved how much Puck cared about her family. It showed up in so many small ways and reminded me a lot of my own family.

I don't even know what else to say. This was just such a great book.

Definitely one of my favorite books. Love your writing, Maggie!

Still one of my favorites— can't believe it's been eight years since I last read it.

'The Scorpio Races' by Maggie Stiefvater is a fascinating and compelling read, that'll make your heart race. Literally. Plunge into the world of the 'capaill uisce', the ferocious and wild water horses of Thisby.

4.5 for the book itself, the extra .5 for the great narration!
