I didn't understand the second half of this story. It didn't seem to relate to the first half, and made no sense at all, even after re-reading sections.
Dang, I really wanted to like this one and thought I would but the first and second halves just felt so disjointed it was like reading two different stories entirely.
This one was subtle... I'm still thinking about it.
Nothing happened? I don't really understand the purpose of this story amongst the others in the collection. It was just a huge and boring disappointment

Melancholy vibes as I approached the end. Breaking out from a vicious loop, Sam wanted not to dictate the life of his future child from just a selection of 3 life choices. Sam definitely did not want his child to live in his shadow and experience life as they wish.
