This was a Christmas gift that sat on my shelf until I picked it up to read it today. It was a short read—maybe 29 minutes—but a deep one, and now I feel like I need to go back and steep in it a bit. It’s a lovely allegory with lots to reflect on, and I look forward to thinking about it more in the days to come. It is also one that is could easily see moving to a five star with more time and consideration.

Sometimes the littlest of things can be the most important. This offering is so beautiful, poignant and sweet. I can discern Lewis' influences within its pages, too.
