MUST TO READ!

This book is an excellent guide to achieving financial freedom.  The author introduces the reader to a number of wealth principles that can make a real difference in your life.  The book is intended as a primer to a course offered by the author but I suspect great financial strides can be made by only using the book as a resource. Recommended

I was a little disappointed by it because it was just too aggressive in marketing his Millionaire Mind seminary and the content was a little too "spiritual" for me. Too much "prove the Universe that you want money" and too little actual financial advice.

But in the end, there were some good takeaways that really helped me organise better my finances.

I have battled on with this book for months now and find a lot of it very repetitive and antiquated. I think some of the principles and ideas are great, at the heart of it there are mantras for positive thinking and how to get inside the 'feeling' of being wealthy - I'm just convinced this is one for 'creative' business owners like myself.

***review for the LIVE seminar version
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind in Turbulent Times***

Be sure NOT to get the 2 cd abridged version of the course the full course is 8cds and over 8hours long. The full course with downloadable pdf workbook can be found at www.audible.com

This is a great audio course which teaches that there are two sides of money or creating wealth. The inner side and the outer side or the mindset and the practical habits. This course gives you both but focuses more on the mindset or inner side of money. Some may not like T Harv's over-the-top motivational style but I think he gives a good balance of both hype and straight-forward how-to advice. The course is a mix of in-studio audio recordings and live seminar audio recordings some of it seems to be in a weird order from bad editing and some parts repeat itself but keep listening its worth it.

The struggle was real.
Acho que já ultrapassei a minha era de "self-help book girly".
Eu acredito no valor deste livro.

Didn’t like the way this book was written- seemed too basic and stereotypical. Some good overall info, but better found in other books!

This is a book that is difficult to rate because, while it has plenty of negative aspects to my mind, it also has some truly important concepts on how to build and keep wealth.

Although the author has pointed out that some ideas are expressed in "black and white" statements, it's not very appealing to read it and another really annoying thing is the massive autopromotion throughout the book.

Other downsides of the book relate to the first section and some of the chapters in the second section of the book.
The concepts presented in the first part are indeed valuable and, while I do agree with the author, he repeats himself too much in defence of his point of view.
Secondly, the main problem with the second section is essentially half of the chapters, where the writer adopts a highly romanticised vision of rich people, and a dramatised one of poor people.

My ultimate judgement of this book is that it contains some great ideas, but it is only worth reading  from chapter 11 to 17.
