I was so excited when I read the description and as I read I fought to keep interest. The plot flips between worlds and gets confusing.

The most original twisted tale.

This tale takes place after Alice’s adventures as a child and she is thrust back into Wonderland as a young adult. Wonderland is in peril. The Queen of Hearts has become more evil.

As Alice navigates both the societal expectation of both Wonderland and Kexford, can she save them both?

As with all the twisted tales, this is darker. Intriguing, well written and with plenty of wonder, this is a great take on what happens and a reflection on how we change as we grow up.

Thanks to @scholastic_au for my #freegift copy.

I enjoyed the overall plot of the book, however was entirely too long. I think the story would have been much more enjoyable had it been half as long.
