Mild spoilers

This book is an insta love romance, and the only real conflict in the book is miscommunication. Not my favorite. However, I did finish it and do plan on reading the next book in the series

It’s an okay book. It’s not the best nor the worst. It just didn’t deliver what I expected. I liked that the male hero wasn’t egoistic or self-centered and was rather down to earth. It feels like males are often written as huge douches who then change for the female lead, but here the hero is likable straight from the beginning.

Like someone else mentioned, the intimate scenes felt as if they were written by another author. It did not really fit with the overall writing of the book, and honestly felt rather cringy and odd at some points. I skipped multiple of them due to that.

But like I said, overall an okay book and I’ll keep my eye on the author and her future works!

I did enjoy the type of writing, but will come back and try again soon.
