What a fun mysterious journey to the mega twist. I could feel the heart ache she was feeling, the ending was such a nice twist. Even though it was completely fucked up what happened her daughter being alive was lovely.

Thank you to Net galley and Jack Jones for being chosen to read this book.
What I can say is when you start reading don't expect what you think you are expecting. This is a great psychological thriller that once started I could not put down. A quick read but it will blow your socks off. Jack Jones in now one of my favorite authors..

This book is told from a couple different character perspectives, which I enjoyed. I think it really helped to tell the overall story. It was a dark, fast, intriguing psychological thriller that I did enjoy reading. A 4-star read for me!

How can a book make a person feel so many different emotions all at once?! I read this book from start to finish in almost 2 days and even ended up staying up until 6am this morning, just to read this book!
I think this will be one of those books that stays with you for a very, very long time. The characters too.
The pure courage of Chloe and Paige and the children, the stupidity of the father for ever letting Maxim near Paige again - yet I still managed to feel sorry for him!
Throughout this book I felt anger, sadness, grief, hope and any other emotion you can think of.

This book took me just a couple of hours to finish. It was incredibly interesting and kept me turning the page. The plot twist was definitely not easily guessed. The writing felt a bit juvenile with lots of repetition and blatantly telling the readers information. I will say it was very disturbing as hell and reminded me a lot of “Pretty Girls”

Well this book is definitely disturbing. It keeps you hooked, it kept my interest pretty much the entire time. The book is about a woman who is suffering from alcoholism, depression - and who knows what else - due to the murder of her daughter about 10 years ago and her husband's recent suicide. She is barely coping. She finds a gun in her deceased husband's office and it sets her on a hunt - realizing she may not know the whole story. I would HIGHLY recommend potential readers be very weary of reading reviews- I have read several (after reading the book) that although I wouldn't say contain "spoilers," they certainly say more than I would like to know going into the book. If you are okay with the dark dark side of thrillers, you will enjoy this book.

Short & Fast Paced

This book was short but everything you want in a thriller was crammed in. Unreliable narrator, action and a good twist. Did feel a little rushed but enjoyed it.

Not bad

Short book about a woman who's daughter went missing ten years ago. Enjoyable and good twist half way through it.

Many thanks to the Berkley Publishing Group and NetGalley for providing an ebook copy of My Girl in exchange for an honest review

Paige Dawson's daughter was kidnapped 10 years ago and only a forearm was found of her. Her husband has just committed suicide and she is on a downward spiral of drink and drugs. Things start happening during her blackouts that she can't explain, her husband is cut out of all their photographs, she wakes to a DVD playing that she had seen for years. Did she do these things and just can't remember? Her father, brother and mother-in-law are trying to get her help but she refuses then she finds a gun hidden in her husband's desk, why did he have a gun? Paige wants to get to the bottom of what happened in the run up to her husband's suicide.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more. I loved the twist in the middle of the book that I didn't expect. I was hooked after the first couple of pages and finished the book in a day. I loved his style of writing and Anything for Her is top of my beach reading list which will be devoured in a couple of weeks time.
