This book was slow at times but I liked it more than their last book!
I actually felt their emotions and believed in the love with this book.
Howeverrrrr I do like them better as side characters I’m sorry I TRIED. In the Addicted series they just hit DIFFERENT. Connor has the best lines and Rose is just a baddie. But in their own book they don’t hit the same idk why. I think we all need a Rose and Connor in our lives though lets be real.
We FINALLY get justice after what he who shall not be named did.
Daisy just be going through the absolute most like she really can’t catch a break damn
The goodbye scene at the end was like the end of an era I was SOBBING pls

after 50 percent or so the way through it started to feel like the story was coming together. there's nothing quite like connor and rose, and their love can defeat any and all odds.

Honestly I don’t hate the book but I feel like if I keep reading I’ll end up hating Connor and maybe even Rose too so I’m putting it down

this was so good, beyond what i’d initially imagined. i liked rose and conner before, however this solidified their relationship in my eyes. this book had me hooked from the first line! there were parts i wasn’t so fond about, sadly. one of them being the intimate scenes, which just rubbed me the wrong way, and always has. and for some inexplicable reason, i just never connected to this book on a deeper level. that doesn’t take away the fact, that this was such an enjoyable read, where i ate nearly everything up. i just love this series with my whole heart, that’s all and thank you

“she fuels the fire in my soul, the embers slowly dying, and she tries feverishly to awaken me.”
“i took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart.’” my lips pull higher, into a livelier smile. “‘i am, i am, i am.”
