Once again Lu Does not disappoint .
As soon as I picked up this book I was automatically immersed into this intense & horrifying moment that Adelina is experiencing . Following her journey made me realize how this world and ours so easily nurtures hate and violence.
The magic system in here is nothing short of incredible , not too complex and yet complex enough . I found myself wanting to know more and more. Wanting to explore in their world . Reading from Adelinas POV was a rush of emotions at every turn . I could feel every wave back to back. . The other character were interesting and captivating. Her interactions with them made me want to be her friend so badly. I kept seeing pictures and moments in which if Some one would of acted different many things could of been avoided . This book once again emphasized that fear is a very powerful emotion .
I will say I did not exactly see The full spectrum of Enzos journey , however I knew Adelina would play a huge role . I just wish it would of ended differently with her and the Young Elites . I’m hoping the next book can provide me with what I’m looking for. .
Ps : Teren is one sick individual , however that queen is even worse .

Tingkat ketertarikan saya akan buku ini naik turun seperti gelombang transversal, dibuka dengan awal yg menjanjikan lalu diikuti dengan tensi yg mulai turun, dst. Entah kenapa rasanya hambar—tapi saya akui kini buku yg saya baca hampir semuanya hambar dan tidak berbekas— The Young Elites ini salah satunya. Namun, tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa saya kepo dengan si Ratu yg mengingatkan saya akan Cersei (bahkan ketika sedang bersama buku lain saya malah ingat buku lainnya lagi, sangat mudah terdistraksi) Kemudian, yg membuat saya bertahan dengan Adelina adalah karakternya yg cenderung villainous ulala, saya harap dia semakin menggelap di sekuelnya.

Ha sido una verdadera decepción y no voy a seguir con la saga. La pluma de Marie Lu, tan conocida, me ha dejado verdaderamente indiferente, a excepción de un par de reflexiones bonitas que encontramos aquí y allá. Una premisa interesante, desperdiciada por falta de emoción, personajes planos y situaciones forzadas y poco creíbles.

I am loving this dark side of Marie Lu.
I mean she played it so safe in the Legend series, coloring within the lines with squeaky clean heroic characters. But with this, its like she unleashed her inner George RR Martin.
The Young Elites follows the story of a bunch of kids, malfettos, who get these powers after a deadly virus sweeps through their land. Their aim is to over throw the king and make life better for the other malfettos. Alderlina joins the daggar society (or so the young elites like to call themselves) and is supposed to be a key player in the plan, if she can control the darkness in her that fuels her powers.
For the Monday of Booktubeathon, I read The Young Elites. It only took me a couple of hours total, and boy, did I enjoy it.
The world was well-established, the powers were amazing, the characters deep and the plot riveting.
I really don't have much more to say other than I really loved this one and am looking forward to The Rose Society!

This was so great! I was very hesitant to pick this book up after not liking Legend by Marie Lu at all (I gave it TWO stars!), but since a lot of the reviews have said that The Young Elites is better I had to pick it up. I still don't like some parts of Lu's writing, I found many of the sentences in the first third of the book to be very choppy, but luckily the writing got better so that I could enjoy the story.
I highly recommend picking this up, especially if you DIDN'T like Legend ;) Can't wait to get my hands on The Rose Society!

Kitap o kadaarrr iyiydi ki. Karakterler, olay örgüsü, gidişat her şeyiyle muhteşemdi. Malfettolar kusurlu görülüp yok edilmeye çalışılıyor ama aslında aynı zamanda elit olanları da var ve elitlerin de özel güçleri var. Bir değil birçok grup var biz bu kitapta sadece Genç Elitler’i okuyoruz. Hepsi ayrı ayrı mükemmeldi ama özellikle ENZO
