It was good, but it didn’t grab me
A lot of the plot fell flat for me, very predictable romance.
I will still read the second book in the duet to find out what happened

Can’t wait to read part two. Just could not put it down. When you think you know what will happen another surprise turn. Great read.

It was a solid 4 star book right up until the last maybe 20%. I still plan to read the second book, but I'm definitely hoping the OTT behavior and angst mellows to something more plausible.
