The Most Perfect Ending❤❤❤

To say that I loooove Luka and Aspen would be a huuuge understatement!!! The ending couldn't have been any better! And I'm glad she left it open...if ever she feels so gracious to give us another book in this amazing series. If this is the end of the whole Wolf Girl and VHS story...I will be happy with what we got ....but my fingers are always crossed

So I finally finished it! This was a struggle!

The characters lack depth, and and all very one dimentional, so you're able to anticipate their action pretty quickly.

There are also so many aspects of the story that don't make sence. My biggest issue being that the supernatural cities don't know about each other and have completely different political views. I mean, this would have been understandable if we were talking about different countries (even if it would still have been weird for them to not have contact with each other). But cities of the same country that don't know a single thing about each other's political ways? Or even just where it is and how their society works? It sounds seriously impossible. (I mean, even if they are closed off, they could have spies... And they live in a world where modern technology exists, do you really think that would be possible?!)

There's a lot of action, but every disruptive element is quickly resolved. It felt really rushed and sloppy. (seriously, the issues with the breeding farms was resolved in 10 lines! It was the main plot of the book!!!)

Also, the religious aspect as a whole is too much. It's everywhere and it's not subtle AT ALL so it kind of feels like propaganda at times so it really spoiled my reading.

Dark Soul

Wow. We jump right back into where book 3 left off. Aspen takes fairly well to the changes in her life except for some anger that is magnified by said change. There's a lot of closure with book and lots of happy things take place in the last few chapters!!! Hope to see more of the crew, lol. I have throughly enjoyed this world.

This was a good conclusion to the series. I loved the emotional turmoil that Aspen went through when she become a vampire because it made sense. This was absolutely what she didn't want and she needed to adjust. I also liked that everything wrapped up nicely. Aspen was able to be a mother like she wanted (fuck you Cassara). And Luka built a church for her because she wanted to get married in a church. So cute. This was such a good series.
