The last short story was by far my favorite in this collection. What a wonderful story to end on.

I went into this blind and listening on audiobook.

I think that was a good approach. The first story was the most affecting. It was sad and beautiful and real. I think that was the best of the stories. The rest of the stories touch on issues and experiences very, very familiar to me. It’s nice to hear them reflected back to me as art.

The audiobook reader was a poor choice. She does not know how to pronounce common words. It’s embarrassing. Locks-mee. Hi-DARE-ah-bad. Lol.

Okay....did that get your attention? Yes, it's really true, I'm giving a collection of stories five stars....never before have I LOVED reading a collection of short stories...this collection is truly pheonominal...a great great read
