I liked it but there were some moments where the characters weren’t using all of the information that they had when making decisions. they frustrated me but i still ate it up. 7/10

I’m glad I didn’t read other reviews until after I finished the book because there is so much unnecessary hate. I really enjoyed this, I loved reading a fantasy book that didn’t revolve around spice and actually had a plot. I like Oro a lot although I did picture him as a super old man. I also quite liked Grim even though some said he felt flat??

I’m not gonna include any spoilers but I didn’t expect this book to go the way it did, and I was actually pleasantly surprised that I didn’t predict the plot even though others did. I think it made it a much more enjoyable experience.

I’d have gone for 5 stars but it did take me a while to get into, I only really started enjoying it a third of the way in. And I wish there was more on Azul.

i liked this. but what the fuck was that ending.
love that oro was the main love interest. if this pulls an acotar and sides with grim for the later books ill RIOT. i prefer grim over rhys feom ACOTAR but im tired of misunderstood bad boys that take advantage of their future/current gfs
