Head Like a Hole

3.75 AVERAGE

Up until the last 20 pages, this was a 5 star read for me. But what the fuck was that ending?? I’m confused and disappointed. Won’t be reading more of his books.

3.5. beginning hooked me, middle was a bit boring, then the end went buck wild (in a good way).

Literally hated the twist. I thought the book would be crime/thriller/paranormal and it was more like sci-fi. I knew as soon as I started it that I wasn’t going to love it but it just got worse and worse.

Okay...I really liked this book BUT I did have some problems with it.

I was quickly drawn into the book because I couldn't figure out what was happening, who Oksana was, etc. After I finally figured out who she was, I pretty much guessed what had happened between her and the other characters (but there was a crazy twist that I was not expecting!)...

Now, here's where my problem started. Through the whole book, Megan is telling the story of Oksana and her friends, and then there's a MAJOR surprise at the end of the book that had me totally confused. I don't want to give a lot away but...just keep an open mind at the end I guess? I'm still not 100% sure I know what happened

I really liked this, but then the ending was almost a little too open-ended for my liking. I’d call this maybe more of a 4.25.
