Cute little interstitial involving spring break and building a house. Nothing really exciting happened.

Although I hated Mia with all my 11-years-old being, this series was a guilty pleasure. The quality is still abysmal, though!

Apart from the "if she knows its a boy she wont have any incentive to push" bullshit (which is absolutly ridiculous) this was nice

MEG CABOT/ ROMANCE

The story is part of a series. It is about Mia, who comes to know that she is the Princess of Genovia. This book is about her going to do a humanitarian project. She tells her mother and grandma that she is going to help out and show how selfless she is. But the real reason is so that she can be alone with her boyfriend for 5 days without supervision. She thinks they are going to be kissing the whole time, but he doesnt really see that. Once they get there, they start working and everyone is smelly and sweaty. There is no way that she can be sexy to him if she smells. SHe gets alone time with him to go on an errand and her grandmother shows up. She lets everyone shower in her hotel room and Mia finally kisses her boyfriend.

To me, this book sounded like a ditzy, preteen girl who only cares about boys. BECAUSE IT IS! I really had a hard time reading this because of the voice. It was so sappy and immature. I guess that can be expected from a young-adult, romance novel. I was really let down because I remember loving the first book when I was younger. Maybe I would have connected better if I was still 14.

In this book Mia and her classmates are helping to build houses for others. This book was a super quick read and made me realize I'm not really a fan of novellas and shorts in series.
