Nest of Thieves was omegaverse perfection! I have read so many different types of omegaverse this year, but Nest of Thieves had something that made it stand apart from the others. Instead of a shrinking violet, the FMC, Jo, is kick@ss and not a slave to her omega nature. She does not deny her nature; she just desires more autonomy in her life. She wants to be able to choose.
A trained thief, she refuses to settle down with a safe, well-bred, well-manicured pack. They do not appeal to her; they would want to shield her and smother her. She needs to be challenged and needs the darkness, the rough edges. That is what makes her pulse race. One foiled robbery puts her directly in the sights of who might be the perfect pack for her. But only if they can learn to trust each other; if she can be sure they want her for who she is and not because of the biological draw between an alpha and omega.
I loved so many things about this book – I adored Jo. She is smart and uses her brains to repeatedly best the men around her, but she also feels genuine. Her men are morally-gray, each a little broken, but each filling a hole in Jo’s heart. They are protective but not stifling. Jo does not have to sacrifice a part of herself to be with them; instead, they bolster her.
The sexual chemistry goes beyond the typical omegaverse scent cues – Jo and the men are also attracted to each other’s brutalities and jagged bits. Knotting, slick, and scents are still abundant, so don’t worry about missing out. Their s3x is far from vanilla; new kinks may be unlocked.
I highly recommend Nest of Thieves! It’s a standalone, but I could read an entire series following this pack.
While not necessarily a dark book, some possibly triggering elements are contained in or mentioned in the story, so check TW before reading if necessary.

I absolutely loved everything about this book! It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not put it down. The story flowed well and really sucked me in and the spice did not disappoints. Another amazing Omegaverse from Rory!!

Nest of Thieves is a dark omegaverse romance set in the criminal underworld that was so much fun to get lost in. Rory Miles has written this book to fit the omegaverse craze of the moment but has added her own dark and suspense filled twist.
Jo is an omega that is about to age out of the Omega Academy and needs to find a pack. However, all the packs that attend their social mixers are a bit too clean cut for her. Instead, in the perfect meet-cute Jo finds her pack mid bank heist with both sides intent on taking the money. The characters are perfectly written for each other with Jo’s firey independence balanced by the dark possessive alphas Vette, Mac and Lark. Theirs is an intense, suspense filled journey filled with steamy tension and chemistry.
Nest of Thieves is a hot reverse harem omegaverse romance set in the dark criminal underworld and containing steamy chemistry and suspense. It contains one strong, fierce omega and a pack of criminal alphas who turn out to be her perfect match.

« My alphas. My men.
My mates.
My villians. »
Omegaverse books with a fiesty FMC and possessive but worship her MMCs with a solid amazing plot especially a standalone book? I'm in love. Jo is such an amazing FMC. She's a badass and I love how she resists the men and takes revenge. Their threats and tussels are so fun. The men are half in love with her already and I loved their dynamics. The smut is top notch 🤌🥵 That plot twist though. I didn't expect that 💀 Everything turned out great in the end thankfully.
« “We’re already mates,” Lark begins.
“But that’s beside the point,” Mac cuts in, glaring at Lark.
“Will you marry us?” Vette asks.
Marry them? What the actual fuck is going on?
Jerking out of my stupor, I glance at the ring. How the hell did they get that out of my safe? “You stole that from me!”
“All is fair in love and war, Kitten. Besides, look at how pretty it is.”
“Technically, we’re mates, so is it really stealing? What’s yours is ours and vice versa, right?” Vette asks.
Lark lifts the box a little higher. “Take the damn ring, babe.”
My eyes mist, and I drop the phone, kneeling with them on the floor and shaking my head. “You assholes.”
“Aww, she loves us.” Mac sighs. » I love them 😍

Nest of Thieves is more on the gritty side of omegaverse. It is definitely far from the sweet omegaverses that are out there. Jo is very independent and has been for awhile, she doesn't want a pack, she just wants to live on her own and support herself. She is definitely cunning and will do whatever she can to be a lone omega.
When a job goes wrong, she's essentially thrown into Mac, Vette & Lark's arms. She may be perfect for them, but none of them really want a complete pack. I love that she starts falling for them slowly. Mac is definitely out there, showing his crazy off, and isn't shy about wanting her, but the other two are slower to come around. When they start to come around, Vette *fans self* shew.. he has a mouth on him. And Lark! OMG, silent, but definitely dominating.
I LOVED the banter in this one. Rory is great with adding those little bits of comedy in there that have me rolling while reading. Also this one is SUPER spicy. Like top shelf spice. Make me wanna jump my husband spice.
If you love omegaverse, and like your books a bit darker than the typical ones, you will love this one! This one has to be my favorite of hers (I feel like I say this with every new book she writes.)
