Cute read. Love the banter between them and how witty they are with one another. Felt very similar to Dear Enemy and was a bit repetitive to me. Very low spice but they felt like a much deeper relationship
SO FUCKING GOOD OMFG!!!!!!!
i loved emma, i loved lucian. i loved them together. i loved luc’s struggle, it felt very real and i loved emma trying to help him through it while figuring herself out.
the vibes were out of this world. their love was so cute. the smut

idk why that took me so long to read considering i liked it. i’m glad they went ice skating i would’ve been mad if they didn’t. also i loved the angst of course but i wish there was more groveling at the end. who is shocked. cute though.
Make it Sweet is a charming love story with a touch of heat. A heartbroken famous actress meets a grumpy former hockey star when both seek refuge in an idyllic California villa. There’s very little drama and nothing particularly remarkable about the story, but the delightful characters and the setting make it entertaining. Do not read this book if you’re hungry. All the French pastry talk sent me running to my local bakery.

I wasn’t intending on re-reading this but I’m so glad I did because it was somehow better the second time 😍
2023 review: 4.5⭐️
~Lucian is a retired NHL player staying with his Nan while trying to figure out his life. Baking makes him feel alive again. Emma is trying to move forward after dumping her cheating ex and being killed off of a popular television show.~
These two were adorable!
My heart broke for Lucian. I couldn’t even imagine losing something like that. It took him a bit but I love that he figured things out for himself. Emma is so sweet and patient. I love how much she pushes him and genuinely wants him to be happy.

The book is so adorable, I was smiling so hard while reading a story of ex hockey and actress in crisis. You should hear how my belly is crying when I read about pastry Lucien make
