Okay not gonna lie the insta-lust threw me off for a second there but I had such a good time reading this! I can definitely relate to Lucian's struggles along with Emma when being in a slump. The character development was so good and the other characters made the whole books even more enjoyable.

Although spn much of the story was about his injury and his struggle with who he is now that he no longer has hockey, it was still adorable and hearing her talk about him baking was hot. Also, hearing Jacob Morgan speak with a slight French accent for the character’s grandma and names of pastries was an extra delight.

I didn't know what to expect. While at first I felt like I was reading a fanfic about Emilia Clarke, I soon found out I enjoyed how these two found together, teased each other.
