Spicy but the writing was trying too hard. Also, "honey box"

The first half of the book was just not it. Their whole relationship is just build on attraction, sex and him being turned on by her eating his food.
At one point that changes, but I still didn’t like their relationship and even the characters themselves. They were both just stubborn and I didn’t like how he was always so ignorant towards everyone else, especially if they were saying something nice. She was alright, but I honestly would’ve preferred it if this would’ve just ended with them broken up.
I did not like the ending at all. They went through a whole fight/break up just for it to have been for nothing…

This books was 50 pages longer than it needed to be. I don’t know how I managed to get through it without declaring myself celibate. It seems as thought Callihan’s solution for everything is sex. Disappointed.

The title is perfect because this was adorably sweet... but also spicy. The perfect mix.

Great characters. Actually behave like adults.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS PERFECT.

An ex-hockey player that can bake (who's grumpy but a softie on the inside)--
An actress whose life took a hard turn but she never let it lose her shine--
A matchmaking, elegant grandma--
A metrosexual badass and strong pillar of support--

And SIGH the estate, Rosemont, is a whole aesthetic! Shrubs of blooming flowers, sweeping terraces overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the faint scent of lemon in the air, the beautiful colonial-style mansion--

Someone teleport me there.
