god i loved this story,
and they both managed to come back to each other and talk to/face each other like grown adults. Lucian may have said spoken evasively at the start because he was guarded (he wanted to protect Emma from being hurt and also prevent himself from being hurt) but did his best to come clean to Emma almost immediately. Emma spoke and reacted like an adult and didn't do that whiny and childish shit like how most authors write their heroines. 4.25 stars!
also, Amalie, Brommy and Tate were awesome side characters!

even though KC wrote Emma and Lucian's "separation" during the last 90%. it wasn't a long separation (which i'm glad) and they both didn't break things off. they both went to do their things separately and to find themselves. i also love that Emma didn't hold back and let Lucian know what she was honestly feeling and made Lucian realized what he truly wants.and they both managed to come back to each other and talk to/face each other like grown adults.
