Recently unemployed actress Emma opts to hide away at a remote estate while she licks her wounds. While there she meets Lucian, a forced-to-retire hockey player turned chef/patisserie. Each are healing from their own emotional wounds as they try to deny their budding attractions. Lucian’s meddling French grandmother (who owns the estate) has chosen to help them along. But, can they overcome the major changes in their respective lives and be happy, or will their pursuits tear them apart?

The flirting was good. Spice took forever and I did not like the conflict. Pretty good overall.

What do you get when you have a beautiful actress down on her luck and an ex hockey player living in close proximity? Laugh out loud moments and sweet treats. The man cooks and bakes, has a sexy body, knows French pastry, and sweet as can be. What more can you ask for?!?!
