I enjoyed the first 20% of this book because of the writer’s room elements, but after that this book kinda fell off for me. I just think the circumstances from Grant and Helen’s past were just too unrealistic for me to even get past.

Kind of a strange premise for a romance, but it worked for me. Enjoyed the inside look at being a screenwriter and the theme of navigating parental expectations.
