The perspectives shifted but not significantly slow. Any minor character development done at the beginning of the book melted away and the characters just threw their ideals, morals, and anxieties out the door. There was so much telling and no showing. I couldn’t finish it.

I liked the unique approach this books has to second chance romances. It was refreshing to read something that starts with darkness and ends with happiness.
