I have so many mixed feelings about this. Was it a funny but cute enemies to lovers romance, yes. But I couldn’t shake the scrunchie scene which almost made me DNF it and quite frankly I kinda lost interest in the entire plot and characters after that.

A cute love story. But honesty about 3/4 of the way into the book I think I got bored. I found myself just skipping sentences to get towards the end.

What a good rom com (and tbh TY for it being not set in NY)!! Related a lot to Helen as someone who can be a bit closed off and has to hype herself up to talk to people lol and I absolutely loved the reference to butterfly tapping – we luv nervous system regulation

Character backstory was a bit wild, like I do not know if I could be in this relationship given the history but I am really glad they did
