OH HOW I LOVED THIS BOOK. This book was everything. The banter was phenomenal. Truly was annoying at times but in a very relatable way and I simply adored Colin. They had such amazing chemistry and they were written so WELL. Like their back and forths had me giggling and reading this book well past my bedtime. I think it was one of my favorite reads this year. Also, the spice was SPICING. Can’t wait to re-read this story!

So the writing was really good. It sucks that the fmc was immature. I think if she were high schooler or even 18 I could have bought her being so invested in her parents relationship. It was just like idk. Weird. Also she was mean. Goodness. I kept checking myself to see if it was my own internalized misogyny that was making me dislike her. But no. She was mean and emotionally immature. It was all just very weird. But the writing was good. The sex scenes were so descriptive and down right dirty. I appreciate that.
