I enjoyed this short book as an audio book. The author has great skill and a very clear voice - and some of the situations she described in Nigeria were quite surprising to me (as an American). To hear that women in the 21st century should still be warned away from being seen as "feminist" and treated like prostitutes for daring to rent a hotel room was a bit of a shock.
an essay that should be read by everyone. (although, kind of funny how nothing has changed since her speech 11 years ago. it's all still the same old. same old misogyny, same old fear, same old sufferings.)
