Not just a sleazy marketer, but a brilliant, well read man with a incredibly wise view on the world. This entertaining book gives a great insight in Stoicism, sharing quotes and stories, without ever boring. Highly recommend for anybody.

Very fluffy without much meat. Feel like it’s for people afraid of their own shadow...not that I’m the bravest or most upbeat all the time but it just felt very basic. Not anything I hadn’t heard in random quotes on the internet already.
Overview of Stoic philosophy, maybe a bit glib at parts. Definitely repetitive.

Some nice inspiration and good advice in this book. Historical quotes feel a bit off, they greatly simplify the reasons for a certain outcome. That being said, having a positive mindset and a winners mentality will not guarantee success in any way, but it does make everything more fun!
