It took me a couple of years to finish this book. I just never really felt super attached to it. It’s an alright book, it’s just not a great read. I’ve heard a lot about Nora Roberts so maybe I went into it expecting more. Maybe I started in the wrong place for just starting out with Nora. Not sure. It was a little slow paced for me. Found myself drifting off into a nap or wandering off in thought like someone else mentioned in another review. I’m glad I finally finished it. Just wish the characters grasped me a little more than they did. And that the ghost was more interesting. I’m not sure if I’m going to read the second book. Maybe. If I get bored enough.
idk if i should even put on GR that i've read this (again, btw) but, it's honestly utter garbage and i love it.
Brain candy romance. Engaging and I liked the characters enough to read the other two in the trilogy.
