This one was LEAGUES better than the second book in this series. Not quite as good as the first, but I did really like reading this. I wanted to read it constantly, but also was definitely glad to be done with the crescent city universe if I’m being honest.

not a 5 star book in sarah janet maas standarts but definitely 5 stars in every other book standarts
I was not reading it at all good time in my life and ended up putting it down because it was a difficult read. I enjoyed it, but the shifting perspectives and gruesome scenes made it challenging. I’ll pick it back up for a reread when the 4th one in the series comes out.
