Adult Urban Romantasy set in a modern style world with creatures such as Fae, reapers, wolves, etc. Our theme is “Divide and conquer” as our favorite team of rebels go all-in to defeat the Asteri once and for all.

After the abrupt cliffhanger of book 2, I expected a lot more from this book. It felt very slap-dash and the crew we have grown to love seemed out of character for much of the book. The friendships and reactions were powerful in some scenes and reaching in others. For how long and packed full of scenes Book 3 was, it was severly lacking for this reader. Some answers were found, but a lot of open ended questions still dangling. Very much hoping there is a fourth book covering the fourth house so as to wrap everything up. Not holding by breath though.

THINGS CONSIDERED Score: 75/100

I finally finished I feel like I deserve a medal.

I was gonna give it 3 stars bc of the pure entertainment value I got from this train wreck of a series, but I couldn't even justify it. this was BAD. the characters sucked and made terrible decisions, the plot was messy and unbelievable, and there were so many things that were just TOO ridiculous for me to take seriously. I'd compare it to a game of MadLibs or MASH. Reads probably as cohesively, or more for that matter. You know it's bad when the characters I cared about the most weren't even from this universe. Overall, I can't believe I waited 2 years for this :D but I will be reading whatever other books she writes unfortunately bc I'm in too deep.

p.s. Sarah if u are reading this... I still want the azriel book... but like... nothing else
