I knew going into this that it wasn't going to be amazing. I saw a lot of negative reviews about it, and it wasn't as great as the first one. It was sort of all over the place, and a part of me just wanted to focus on Meddy and Nathan and their wedding. There were things happening that just didn't need to be there. I still love the family dynamic, and Meddy and Nathan are adorable.

Not amazing writing and less compelling story than the first in the series, but a fun and easy audio book to listen to on my drive

Not quite as good as the first book, but enjoyable nonetheless.

After flying through Dial A for Aunties, I have been impatiently waiting for this ones release. I was so excited to get back into the world of Meddy and her aunties. I did love this one, and I listened to the audio version in one day, because I could not make myself pause it. However, I didn’t think it was quite as good as the first one, and the premise didn’t have the same shock value. However! I will read anything that comes out in this series, and I love this family and their dynamics so much.

The family dynamics in this book are absolutely incredible, I loved each of the Aunties and Meddelin's relationship with them. The story is so rich in culture, and the comedy had me laughing out loud countless times. This was so fast paced, hilarious, and crazy in the best ways possible. Each character was so unique and so easy to distinguish from the others. I do think my main critique would be the overall absence of Nathan in the story. I loved their relationship so much in the first book, so I was bummed to not see much more of them, especially since it takes place during their literal wedding.

I did listen to the Audio version of this, and the narrator is absolutely perfect and fits Meddelin’s voice so well! This got me so much more exited for the Netflix film! I’m crossing all of my fingers that Netflix does it justice! I have a feeling there is going to be a third book, and I can’t wait to read more about Meddy and her aunties shenanigans.

I don't know if I was ready for the amount of chaos on this book but it sure made me laugh a lot. This family is endearing and full of life.

The aunties are back in Four Aunties and a Wedding from Dial A For Aunties.

this was... not it for me. i found the first one to be so creative, fun, and fresh -- but this one? i found myself stressed the whole time! maybe i just can't handle the stress of a wedding going that wrong. i don't think i relaxed once.
