Nie pamiętam, żeby inne książki Wellsa były tak brutalne, ta wyjątkowo była. Griffin jako postać jest w stanie wybrać jedynie najgorsze i najbardziej plugawe ścieżki, po których chce stąpać i jestem pewien, że gdyby nie niewidzialność, dałby o sobie znać wszystkim wokół. Czyta się naprawdę dobrze, miejscami jedynie opisy są zawiłe i robi się dziwny splot wydarzeń, z którego ciężko uzyskać sensowne informacje, ale może tak właśnie ma być, może mamy się wczuć w sytuację, w jaką wpakował się Griffin, z dala od strefy komfortu. Nie mogę się doczekać ludzi idących w jego ślady, jak z fanami Fight Clubu :)

Very enjoyable book. I like how HG Wells writes a lot. It was fun watching the invisible man get caught, and also made you realise just how powerful someone who’s invisible could be

A selfish, misanthropic, cruel and brutal invisible man arrives and wreaks havoc to all around him as a method of survival. A thin excuse, it seems, to hide his own malicious tendencies. He's a genius of course, but this element of invisibility unlocks The Invisible Man to his full potential. It's all fun and games until you come to the realisation that this dude is doing all his antics naked and then it's kinda weird. Naked, cold, bitter and violent.
